KDOI Podcast was my first serious attempt at podcasting after spending many years just creating content without regard to the final product. KDOI started in 2016 and had 3 seasons until I closed it down in 2019. In this episode, I talk with my good friend Mike Finlay. I have known him since my time at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Mike is a playwright, poet, actor, and armchair philosopher. He has worked with me on numerous projects so he knows how to get the most out of me. In this interview, we talk about his beginnings in novel writing and where his inspiration comes from.
