Does My Art Reflect The Genius Inside

The word genius gets passed around all the time, but do we really know what it is and how to measure it? Does being one inhibit our creativity? My wife gave me a box of cards for the holidays in 2022. I was puzzled because they were creativity cards and I thought, what the heck is this, I don’t need them. Well, folks, I was wrong and I will attempt to do a card a week and record an episode about how I am utilizing the card I draw every week if you decide to pick up a deck and do these let me know.

Genius Definitions

Genius: An attendant spirit of a person or place. A person who influences another for good or bad. A strong leaning or inclination. A peculiar, distinctive, or identifying character or spirit. A single strongly marked capacity or aptitude. Extraordinary intellectual power especially as manifested in creative activity

Genius Challenge

• A word like genius can seriously affect your awareness. Has the modern definition of genius ever kept you from trying something because you were afraid the work would be too connected to you?
• Rebuke any perfectionist tendencies, and share a wild idea with a collaborator before it becomes a reality.
• Brainstorm now. Who comes to mind when you think of genius? Attempt to define what makes a genius a genius.
